Next CCBA Membership Meeting is at the Center of Clayton

I am pleased to announce that the next CCBA Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 7 pm at the Center of Clayton.

Your CCBA Board of Directors established two strategic objectives for 2019. The first involves the re-evaluation of the formal Clayton Major Development Planning and Approval Process. The second involves working to improve the economic vibrancy of downtown Clayton.

We have planned our second quarter CCBA Membership Meeting around the Major Development Planning and Approval process. To that end we have invited Steve Lichtenfeld, Chairman of the Clayton Planning Commission and Architectural Review Board to join the meeting as a guest along with Susan Istenes, Director of Planning and Development for Clayton.

We believe this is an opportunity to learn about the protocols and rules that drive the approval process as well as to learn about the human element involved in decision making. It is also an opportunity for our members to ask questions and pose alternative methods for the planning and approval of major developments to those currently accepted and deployed in Clayton.

As usual our meeting will begin at 7 pm with a quick overview of business activities undertaken by your Board of Directors on your behalf to be followed at 7:30 with a presentation by our two guests followed by Q&A.
